XXL oil drum sofa “Jane” is the perfect piece of furniture for anyone looking for something unique. Made from two 200 liter steel oil drums welded together, it has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind sofa with great attention to detail. Sofa “Jane” belongs to the new basic series by “Tonnen Tumult”, many improvements have been made. The extremely solid steel legs have rubber feet and offer a secure footing on any type of floor covering. It’s wooden seat is generously dimensioned and offers space for three to four people. The part cut out at the front of the barrel was used as a backrest. It’s backrest is pleasantly angled and offers optimum seating comfort. The seat consists of upcycled pallet boards. This wooden slats were adjusted, sanded, flamed and varnished in several layers. The matt color on the oil drums also consists of several layers with a clear lacquer finish. All cut edges are equipped with a safe PVC edge protection.
