‘Ben’ is an open cabinet and can be used as a sideboard, TV cabinet or shelf. The XXL oil barrel shelf offers a lot of practical storage space and at the same time is a great eyecatcher. The semicircular outer sides are steel barrel parts and for the back side a grid steel mat with diamond pattern was welded in. The shelves and table top are upcycled from pallet wood: sanded, lightly flamed and clear varnished several times. The barrel edges are provided with an edge protector, inside the metal parts are mottled gray and outside the former oil barrel shines in a new matt lacquer. A robust as well as exclusive oil barrel furniture, available in different colors and on request also with your logo.
At this point, we would like to point out that Tonnen Tumult furniture are perfectly finished but visually imperfect! They are upcycled products, i.e., already used industrial goods that have been modified into a piece of furniture. The bins have occasional small dents under the new lacquer and the wooden boards have small nail holes. These mini-flaws are visible even after processing and are also intentional! This is retro-industrial style! In addition, the underside of the bottom fold or the feet can have slight scratches due to motion during processing, but these are not visible in use (as written, underside).
